Intro

Zeno CY

Zeno CY is a workspace where your accounting documents become a structured registry you can review and export. It watches a monitoring folder (or accepts manual uploads), parses incoming files, and keeps the original document linked to each record. You decide what is correct and what needs follow-up.

Who Zeno CY is for

  • SME owners who need visibility and control over documents and bookkeeping inputs.
  • Accountants and bookkeepers who prepare registries and reports from client documents.
  • Auditors and banks who request consistent, traceable document packs.

Getting started

Register your organization and verify your email. The first user becomes the Owner and can manage access. Connect a monitoring folder for incoming documents. If you need additional users, set seats and send invites from Subscriptions (docs page coming soon). See: Quickstart.

How Zeno CY works

New files arrive from your monitoring folder or uploads. Zeno reads the document, extracts key fields, and assigns a processing status. You review exceptions, correct what is missing, and rescan when needed. Each registry row stays tied to the original file for traceability.

Documents and registries

Documents are the raw files you upload or sync. The Document Registry is the structured table built from those files (dates, amounts, counterparties, and more). Use it to filter, track status, and keep one source of truth for exports. Start here: Upload documents and Document Registry.

Exports and sharing

Export the registry to Excel or Google Sheets. Use exports when you need a snapshot for a period, a specific counterparty, or an audit request. Share the export with your accountant, auditor, or bank in the format they expect.

Bank statements and control

Upload bank statements for the same period as your documents. Use them to confirm that transactions and documents match. When data is missing or ambiguous, you verify it manually. This keeps the final control with you and reduces "unknown" entries.

Crypto transactions (in development)

The crypto module is in development. It is planned to import crypto transactions and align them with the same registry workflow. For now, handle crypto outside Zeno CY.

What you get

In the end, you work from a single registry that stays linked to the original documents. Typical results:

  • A complete document set linked to every registry row.
  • A registry you can filter, audit, and export.
  • A clear handoff package for filings, audits, or bank requests.

What's next

Read Getting started and run the Quickstart. Then review Upload documents and the Document Registry flows. Next: Subscriptions (billing and invites) documentation will be added.
