Translation Rules

EN is the documentation Source of Truth (SoT). Translations are derived and must not change meaning.

Hard Rules

No meaning drift: translations must preserve intent, scope, and constraints.
No creative localization: do not rewrite, embellish, or change tone to marketing copy.
Anchors are stable identifiers: explicit anchors like {#registry-upload} must never be translated or modified.
Help keys are stable identifiers: strings like help.documents.registry.upload must never be translated or modified.
Docs ↔ Product link patterns are contract-governed and must remain stable (see zeno-specs/02_CORE/ZENO_DOCS_PRODUCT_CONTRACT.md).

Use the canonical terms in Glossary.
UI labels should match product UI strings (zeno-console) when those strings exist.
