Exports & sharing
Exports take reviewed and registered data out of Zeno CY and into the rest of your workflow — your accountant's spreadsheet, your auditor's package, your own archive. The same rule applies everywhere: exports come from the validated scope, not from drafts.
What you can export
Depending on the screen you are on, the export options include:
- CSV — universal, works with every accounting tool.
- Excel — formatted spreadsheet for direct handoff.
- Google Sheets — synced into your Drive when the connector is bound.
What gets exported, from where
- Document preview export — the single document you are looking at.
- Registry export — the period or scope you have filtered to.
- Audit export — events for the time range and filters you are looking at.
Each export reflects exactly what is on screen at the moment you click. Filter first, export second.
Sharing in practice
- Share only with recipients who are part of the engagement.
- Keep the period context in the filename — month, quarter, or year code as appropriate.
- Hold on to exported snapshots so the audit trail stays continuous after the document leaves the workspace.
Security notes
- Exporting does not grant new permissions to anyone. The act of creating a CSV does not bypass role scope.
- Access to the original documents still follows role rules and connector policies, even after a CSV has been shared.
