Errors & Troubleshooting

This page maps common runtime errors to practical recovery actions.

Access denied

Meaning: your role or environment policy does not allow the action.

What to do:

  1. Re-check role scope in Settings
  2. Ask Owner to verify access policy
  3. Retry after re-login if role was changed

Storage / folder not accessible

Meaning: bound source folder is not reachable.

What to do:

  1. Reconnect source
  2. Reselect folder binding
  3. Confirm account/session is correct

Upload failed

Meaning: source file cannot be ingested/parsing cannot start.

What to do:

  1. Validate file readability
  2. Retry with cleaner source
  3. Check connector/folder state

Processing incomplete

Meaning: parser returned partial extraction.

What to do:

  1. Reparse via canonical or ZenoLab route
  2. Correct fields manually
  3. Use Accuracy Review checklist for systematic mismatches

VAT unknown or not determined

Meaning: VAT status could not be finalized in current run.

What to do:

  1. Verify VAT manually from source
  2. Retry validation later
  3. Continue according to your compliance process

Documents locked

Meaning: document is currently non-editable by lifecycle/policy.

What to do:

  1. Verify document status
  2. Confirm role/subscription scope
  3. Escalate through support if lock is unexpected

Wallet service not available (501)

Meaning: wallet backend is offline or not implemented for this environment.

What to do:

  1. Use demo provider mode if enabled
  2. Continue pilot with document flows
  3. Request environment rollout for wallet connector service

Audit restricted (403)

Meaning: your role is outside audit visibility scope.

What to do:

  1. Ask Owner to assign admin/auditor if needed
  2. Use compliance-export process available to your role

Meaning: browser could not resolve/open original source reference.

What to do:

  1. Rebind local folder / connector
  2. Use Change folder for local mode
  3. In Safari, use reconnect flow (direct local path opening is restricted)
